This workshop is continuance only. Students wishing to commence this workshop must book into workshop number 26 on the Tuesday & Wednesday. This workshop will only accept students who have already commenced this project.

Elegant and timeless, monochromatic designs have been popular with embroiderers for centuries. Worked on a natural coloured linen cotton blend using DMC threads and Miyuki beads, the design comprises a number of interesting and diverse stitches and techniques

  • Bead embroidery: 3 techniques
  • Crewel embroidery: 14 stitches
  • Needle Lace embroidery: 4 techniques
  • Needle Weaving: 1 pattern

Measuring 365 x 250 mm, the design comprises three identical sections woven into a single homogenous design with a pleasing flow, meaning that despite the size of the overall project, it will be possible to cover all the techniques in a two-day workshop.

Skill level: This project is not for beginner but for stitchers with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of embroidery will enjoy the project and learn some interesting techniques and tips along the way

Kit cost: There will be no kit for this workshop as it is a continuance only and all students will already have the kit.
